Chris Rose’s Port Macquarie roots of secluded surf breaks and coastal campfires, colours and shapes his music and songwriting. Growing up by the sea on NSW’s Mid North Coast, Chris is a regular performer at the local pub, clubs and festivals. When he isn’t surfing, he can be found jamming with local musicians working on his songs, and jumping in his van with his guitar to play shows up and down the East Coast.

At the 30 year celebration of the Schools’ Spectacular in 2014, Chris performed his original song ‘We Are’ (released by Sony Music) as the finale song on the main stage at the Sydney Entertainment Centre, which was broadcast on Channel 9. He has also performed as foyer support at the Entertainment Centre before legendary artists such as the Eagles, Bob Dylan, Matchbox 20 and Motley Crew; and more recently in the VIP room before Bryan Adams and Keith Urban at Allphones Arena.

More recently, Chris has been in the studio recording a self-written, rockin’ single called ‘Godzilla’ with producer Benjamin McCarthy (Alex the Astronaut, Gordi,) at Sing Sing Studios in Melbourne., he hopes his fans and people of Australia will dig it and its ‘alien’ vibes. He will be travelling to Sydney in the coming weeks to film a music video for the song with renowned director Jefferton James (Josh Pyke, Boy and Bear)
